Export Data
After adding features to the map, export your data. Copy the text from textarea below to a text editor (e.g. wordpad) and save the file with correct extension (.gpx or .kml). You need to
export again after any new addition or edits to your drawings. Export of "circle" is not supported at this time.

Enter the URL (starting with http://) of the file residing in another web server in text box. To find a url of a file with a download link in another web page, right-click on its link and copy its url (make sure the url ends with the right filetype, eg. .kml or .kmz).
Google Maps support for KML is more limited than Google Earth; for detailed explanation check here and here.
Local KML, GPX
Open KML file with a text editor (e.g. wordpad), select and copy the content and paste in textarea. GPX file type is not supported at this time. You can open your GPX or KMZ file in Google Earth, then save them as KML and upload here.
